Our History

Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Inc.| The Beginnings

Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Inc. GLFT was formed by God and established by a few faithful members on February 10, 2005, as an independent Non-Denominational organism. In August of 2005, God gave us a home for worship; we declared in faith and favor our God given assignments.

On August 14, 2005, we entered our newly constructed worship facility, located at 2361 Salem Road, Covington, GA at 11:00am and engaged in our first of many worship services. God added to the church several more servants that day and many more soon came to be a part of the GLFT family. God continued to give us great increase throughout the years. He blessed us with spiritual and physical increase.

In February 2009, G.L.F.T. relocated to the new building located at 2378 Dogwood Drive, SE, Conyers, GA. Over the years, we have been truly blessed with great leaders who have spoken well into our spiritual lives and have insisted on a holy way of living:

  • Bishop Michael D. Spires -    Church of Atlanta Lighthouse, Atlanta, GA

  • Dr. Charles A. Smith -     Message of Truth Ministries, Atlanta, GA

  • Dr. Jake Givan - Unity of Faith Ministries, Stone Mountain, GA

Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Inc. is blessed to have over forty Elders and Ministers. We have also aided in nourishing the following ministries:

  • New Beginnings Holiness Ministries, Conyers, GA

  • Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle, Inc. (South) Macon, GA

  • Abundant Faith Apostolic, Conyers, GA

We realize that it is the Authority of God, the Faith of God, and the Power of God in which we are able to operate and carry out His will.

Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle Inc. affirms the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith.  The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of "The Holy Bible" as the inerrant, infallible word of God.  We band ourselves together as one body of baptized believers in the name of Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.

The ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's Supper. The realization of the New Testament Church is an independent ecclesiastical organization that operates by the direction of the Holy Spirit without interference and/or subordination by any association or convention.
