Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Bishop T. Demetrius Smith is a dedicated servant of God with a
rich history of ministry, leadership, and community impact. He was raised and educated
in Dekalb County, GA, attending local public schools, where he developed a foundation
of faith and academic excellence. His pursuit of knowledge led him to various colleges,
earning multiple professional certifications in law enforcement, alongside advanced
degrees in ministry, Bishop Smith holds the highest degree in Theology, a Doctorate,
underscoring his deep commitment to biblical scholarship and spiritual leadership.
Ministry Journey:
Licensed and ordained into ministry in 1995, Bishop Smith began his pastoral
calling in 1999. His unwavering dedication and vision culminated in the launch
of Greater Love Fellowship Tabernacle Inc. in Conyers, Georgia, in 2005-a vibrant
church community committed to spreading the love and message of Christ.
In 2007, he founded the Gathering of the Saints Bible Institute, aimed at equipping
leaders and believers with biblical knowledge and practical ministry skills. His passion
for fostering unity and spiritual growth led to the establishment of the Gathering of the
Saints International Fellowship in 2017, extending his ministry influence globally.
Current Endeavors:
Bishop Smith is currently working on his first book, which is anticipated to be released in
mid-2025. His writings promise to inspire and empower believers worldwide, sharing
insights drawn from his extensive pastoral experience and theological expertise.
